FOUNDER & Managing Director
Charly Roels (MAICD)
Charly Roels is an experienced executive search and leadership advisory professional with over 25 years' of experience at a global level navigating the complexities of the infrastructure, energy, financial services, consulting and government sectors. As Managing Director, she leads the firm's executive search, leadership advisory and executive career coaching activities.
Her work spans infrastructure, energy, financial services, professional services, technology, logistics and government. She advises organisations on critical executive appointments, leadership transitions, sucession, board and leadership assessment and the development of senior executive talent pipelines ready to be mobilised as business and project requirements emerge.
Charly spent five years based in Hong Kong and has developed an extensive Australasian, APAC and international executive network. She has supported the formation of leadership teams for major infrastructure and investment programs and works closely with senior executives navigating career transition, market positioning and their leadership opportunities.
Earlier in her career, Charly served as Head of Executive Search across Westpac Group. She is recognised for her deep market intelligence and ability to identify talent that aligns with long-term strategic objectives. Charly is passionate and highly dedicated to best practice - presenting a uniquely innovative, fresh and personalised approach to search.

Simon Martin
Simon is a specialist executive search advisor combining deep financial markets expertise, rigorous econometric and mathematical training, and certified proficiency in artificial intelligence, a rare convergence that brings analytical precision and strategic insight to leadership search.
His career spans investment banking in the USA, private equity advisory, finance and property development, including advising large corporations and significant property developments on capital structures and private equity raising, globally. This firsthand commercial experience gives Simon an understanding of the financial complexity and leadership demands that characterise high-stakes environments.
At CRA, Simon works closely with founder and Managing Director Charly Roels, providing specialist research, financial analysis and strategic support across the firm's executive search and leadership advisory engagements. His experience strengthens CRA's work across government, infrastructure, energy, financial services and development, supporting C-Suite and senior executive appointments, leadership assessment and market intelligence.
Simon also supports CRA's work in identifying and engaging senior leaders ahead of need, helping CRA and its clients develop executive capability that can be mobilised as strategic, project and leadership requirements emerge.
Simon holds formal training in economics with specialisation in econometrics and business administration, is a recognised expert in artificial intelligence, and holds Anthropic (Claude) certification, bringing additional commercial, analytical and AI capability to CRA's executive search, board analysis and leadership coaching work.
